Powder / Shaded Brow

This procedure is performed with either a permanent makeup machine, or a hand held single use disposable tool. The procedure was born from early traditional body art tattoo methods, and then gradually became modernized with the progression of the permanent makeup industry. The pigment is placed in the top layer of the dermis and for that reason lasts much longer then a microblade. With this procedure, pigment placement is everything. It is important to have an experienced technician as this procedure is much more permanent. If the pigment is placed to deeply it may result super saturation where the colour looks harsh like a body art tattoo or it may result in scar tissue. The powder brow looks a little bit more intense immediately post procedure then that of a microblade. However the healed final results, are soft and powdery looking. A powder eyebrow will heal on average approximately 30% lighter. This is a beautiful procedure to consider if you have tried a microblade in the past and you are sure you want something more permanent. A powder brow will last about 2 years or so before a maintenance touch up is needed.

Digital Machine Brow

This is an advanced and innovative technique done with a superior high quality digital machine and fully disposable needle cartridges. The best way to think of a digital machine eyebrow, is the look of a microblade eyebrow with the staying power of a powder brow. The pigment is placed in the upper dermis at a certain speed, depth and pitch to create the look of fine crisp lines similar to that of a micro Blade. The result is beautiful crisp hair strokes that will last much longer then a traditional microblade. This is advanced technique is sweeping the PMU industry all over the world but has yet to really take off in Canada. Always see an experienced technician.

Micorblade + Shade

A Micorblade and Shade or Ombre brow is essentially a combination of a microblade and a powder brow. The brow is created to look softer in the bulb yet darker in the arch and tails, though it seems to blend effortlessly. Some technicians will dilute the pigment in the bulb of the brows to create a softer shadowy effect. I prefer to do a microblade in the bulb to create a more realistic result. This is a great option for people who want a more bold look yet love the look of a microblade.  It will last about 2 years however the bulb tends to fade faster as the pigment is not placed as deeply.

Combination EyeBrow / MicroBlade + Shade

To create this permanent makeup effect, a fully disposable handheld tool and digital machine is used. The best way to think of a feather or embroidery permanent makeup eyebrow is as if a powder brow and a microblade had a baby. The technique is similar to a microblade with the combination of some shading or a powder brow. The final look is softer then a powder brow yet more permanent then a microblade eyebrow on its own.

I love preforming corrective procedures. However it is important to have realistic expectations in regards to your final results. Skin that has been heavily worked, has scar tissue or dark pigment is definitely more difficult to achieve natural & long lasting results. More frequent touch ups will almost always be required. If you are not sure if your brows are workable please send us an email with a photo of your brows prior to booking. As a rule of thumb- any brows that you have to cover with concealer require removal and any brows that you can fix with an eyebrow pencil can usually be corrected with permanent makeup.

Natural Hypertonic
Saline Tattoo Removal

Hypertonic Saline Tattoo removal is an amazing alternative to laser tattoo removal. This technique is natural, and uses your own bodies healing system to gently remove all colours of tattoo. There is no risks of hyper pigmentation, or chances of burning your skin as with laser. Perfect for skin types prone to hyper pigmentation.

With this Advanced Technique, Hypertonic Saline is inserted into the tattoo in a similar way the pigment was applied. The body then rejects the saline as well as the pigment and then forms a thin dark scab containing the unwanted pigment. When the scab falls the pigment falls out with it. There are many benefits to this procedure. It is natural, it removes all colours and types of pigment, there is no risk of pigment turning black or getting stuck in scar tissue. The liver does not have to process the pigment as with laser removal because the pigment is actually coming out and not going in.

There are no use of acids or carcinogenic's such as with Tatt2away, Rejuvi or E-Raze.  This procedure is especially useful around sensitive areas such as the eyes, lips, and face where laser can be quite dangerous, as well as a great option for people with sensitive skin. However this procedure is not recommended for large size tattoo, more then one treatment is typically required.
